Kachina Peak Wilderness
And finally for those of you who like a challenge you might like Kachina Peak Wilderness, it’s a great location for all-terrain skiers. There are no chairlifts so you have to climb the slopes on your own. Make sure you pack your climbing gear and take plenty of high octane snacks because you’ll need them. You will need to get permits from the Flagstaff Ranger District office or Agassiz Lodge in order to enter the vicinity.
