Now is the right time to join the annual quilt show and find delights in the various amazing exhibits on display. This is the 26th edition of the show and promises to be the biggest and most enjoyable edition yet! It is an impeccable opportunity for local quilters to display their talents while each participant appreciates their amazing craftworks.

What is the Annual Quilt Show?

The Quilt Show is a yearly event that is held in Sedona, Arizona. It offers several individuals a chance to showcase their expertly crafted quilts to others from various parts of the country. Notably, this year’s Quilt Show has been brought to life through a wonderful collaboration between the Red Rock Quilters and the Sedona Public Library.

This year’s event already began on January 11, but it continues through the early part of March. As part of this ongoing event, lots of craftsmen are already displaying their wares, and you can also join them as the show progresses. Some of the upcoming dates for this program in Sedona include:

  • February 26 (Friday)
  • March 1 (Monday)
  • March 2 (Tuesday)
  • March 3 (Wednesday)
  • March 4 (Thursday)
  • March 5 (Friday)

This interesting program holds each of these days from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Are you in town? Join this event now. Even if you are a quilter but not in town, don’t hesitate to visit Sedona and be a part of this astounding show as loads of handcrafted beauties will be on display. There will be an array of small/wall quilts and large quilts for you to see.

The show is being hosted at the Sedona Public Library, which can be found at 3250 White Bear Road, Sedona. This magnificent library will be decorated and filled with different quilts from its ceilings to the ground. Various new locations in the library will be used for displaying the quilts. This public library is a clean location with good internet access. It is a handicap-accessible library that is safe for everyone.

So, you can take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a self-directed tour of the library as well as the event itself. Take the time to check out the quilts on the walls and rafters in the Main Room of the Sedona Public Library.

What else will happen at the show?

Of course, the Annual Quilt Show is not just about the display of locally made and sourced colorful quilts. There will be different awards targeted at appreciating the various works of the craftsmen. Tagged the Viewers’ Choice Awards, the recognition will be given to the best small/wall quilts, large quilts, and overall best in the show.

Similarly, pre-selected judges will get an opportunity to choose a quilt for the prestigious Arizona Quilters Hall of Fame Award. Without mincing words, this is a show that you don’t want to miss for anything in the world.
