Countryside vs. City? You decide.

Sep 20, 2018 info@gadgetgrrl.com Sedona Real Estate Comment 0

There are a lot of reasons to forego the city for the countryside and here are just a few;

1.       COST OF LIVING

There is no doubt that the cost of living in the city is much higher (up to five times higher, depending on the city you are living in) than in the countryside. Money spent on meals, mortgage or rent let alone schooling, cinema tickets, car maintenance and so on. The cost of living in a place like the Verde Valley, is much more reasonable.  Arizona taxes are another big reason people move to the Verde Valley.

2.        QUIET AND PEACEFUL LIFESTYLE

Whether you are hiking or biking on the hundreds of trails or strolling along Oak Creek there are a myriad of stress relieving activities you can do in this area.  Kayaking down the Verde Valley River or horseback riding out to the canyons or wine tasting at some of the several dozen wineries in the area can all help you relax and unwind.  Massage therapists specializing in everything from hot rock massage to crystal bowl healing are plentiful here.

3.     CLEAN AIR QUALITY

Cities tend to have so much pollution and here in the Verde Valley we have great air quality.  Hike out to Mingus Mountain or up Sugar Loaf of Bell Rock and breath in the cool, crisp desert air.  Your lungs will thank you for the experience out here.

4.   NATURE, NATURE, NATURE

You are surrounded by some of the most beautiful vistas on earth.  Wake up every morning to views that change within the day because sunrises are as beautiful as sunsets.  Snow?  I call it postcard snow, because if you are in real snow like Minnesota or Colorado, the snow in the Verde Valley will seem silly.  Most of the snow in the winter falls and then burns off in the afternoon.  It’s great to have some for Christmas because who doesn’t like some for family photos but you won’t need a shovel.

Allow Agent Diana Stoneberg who is a Green Certified Agent, help you move into beautiful Sedona, soon.
