  • Iron King Trail

Starting in the community of Granville, this trail is one of the best in the city. It covers a total distance of around 4.1 miles; hence, it offers you a vast area to enjoy all sorts of adrenaline-pumping activities. As you bike or walk around this trail, take delight in the stark desert, green landscape, relics, and tons of other things within the neighborhoods.

  • Buffalo Park Loop

This is a 2-mile trail that circles a wonderful park that goes by the same name. Filled with gravel and dirt, Buffalo Park Loop traverses native grasslands as well as a tiny area that has loads of woods. While using the trail, don’t forget to catch the views of the mountains that grace the horizon of the neighboring environment.

  • Arizona Trail

If you are looking for a trail that is good for walking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, Arizona Trail should be one of the names on your list. Located in Flagstaff, this 10.1-mile trail is one of the longest trails in Arizona. The endpoints of Arizona Trail are Lake Mary Road and N. Gemini Road.  It is worthwhile to note that the trail surfaces contain lots of gravel, asphalt, and concrete.

  • Route 66 Trail

The starting point of Route 66 Trail is the central part of the downtown district of Flagstaff. If you are coming with your vehicle, consider parking at the visitor center close to the concrete trail. Having a total length of only 1.1 miles, Route 66 Trail is the perfect trail for people that don’t want to cover a long distance.

  • Country Club Trail

Found around the eastern part of Country Club Drive, this concrete trail extends from US 89 north of I-40 to the areas close to Boulder Run south of I-40. If you are using a wheelchair, Country Club Trail is recommended for you as it is wheelchair accessible. Besides, this 0.9-mile trail is also good for biking, so come along with your bike for some thrilling rides.

  • Prescott Peavine National Recreation Trail

Prescott Peavine National Recreation Trail is a 6-mile long trail whose surfaces feature lots of dirt, ballast, crushed stones, and cinder. Based on what you want, you can stop your adventures at Prescott Lakes Parkway, Side Road, or even Sundog Ranch Road. It is a great place for walking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
