One of the most  beautiful places in the world is Sedona. Surrounded by great red rock mountains. A trip to Sedona can include hiking, biking and viewing some incredible red rocks mountains.

Cathedral Rock

One of the most famous and photographed sights in Sedona is cathedral rock. If you are looking to have a good hike then the mountain trail there will lead you to the saddle where you can look around and feel like you are on top of the world. Many wedding photos are shot up on Cathedral because the vistas are so dynamic.

Slide Rock

The rock slide area at Slide Rock is 80 feet long and 2.5 to 4 feet wide, with a 7 percent decline from top to bottom. Algae on the rocks creates the slippery ride. Slide Rock includes a 1/2 mile of Oak Creek that is open for swimming, wading and sliding. The world-famous slide that the park is named for is an 80 foot-long slippery chute that is worn into sandstone. Slide Rock State Park,is a 43-acre historic apple farm located in Oak Creek Canyon.

Bell Rock

Bell Rock comes into close view driving down the Sedona Red Rock Scenic Byway, State Route 179. Visitors entering along this “Gateway” to Sedona are awestruck upon first seeing this iconic red rock formation. A typical view of the red rocks in the Village of Oak Creek include Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. At the summit, the elevation of Bell Rock is 4,919 feet (1,499 m) while Courthouse Butte is even higher, with an elevation of 5,440 feet (1,660 m). They are composed of horizontally-bedded sedimentary rock of the Permian Supai Formation.

Coffeepot Rock

Located in West Sedona, this iconic rock formation literally resembles a giant coffee pot, thus the name.  Park at the base of the mountain and hike around it, underneath it there are numerous trails to hike or bike on and of course the views are spectacular.

Pick a mountain, any mountain in Sedona because there are no end to the trails and views and experiences you can enjoy in the wonder filled area of Northern Arizona.
