When you think of Arizona you don’t usually think of snow. Head north from Phoenix about 2.5 hours to Flagstaff, and you’ll find cooler climates and an actual winter season and home to the Snowball ski resort.
Why Snowbowl is the place to be in Winter?
Snowball has golden yellow Aspens in the fall and a ride up to the top is well worth the views. Winter skiing is spectacular and many of the Northern Arizona University students spend alot of time on the slopes every year.
What kind of activities Snowbowl offers?
The beauty of this place can be explored through secure, elevated chairlifts. Snowboarders will also find this a great place to shred. And if you like to cross country there are plenty of locations in Flagstaff to do that as well.
Free Shuttle to Snowbowl
There is a free shuttle service available in Flagstaff for anyone wanting to go skiing up at Snowbowl. Students often use this service so they don’t have to bother with parking.
